Anna Thorp is a project manager in the Center for Educational Informatics at North Carolina State University. She received an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College and a B.A. in Neuroscience from the University of Virginia. Her research interests span education and brain sciences, specifically teaching and learning, cognitive development, and neuroscience. She is particularly interested in collaborating with colleagues to provide support to educators in facilitating learning experiences that foster all students’ abilities to problem solve, collaborate, and communicate. In addition to her experience contributing to research, Anna has also taught at the elementary level and contributed to the development of a digital math curriculum.
